not runny at all!
I was aprehensive about my purchase having read previous reviews. I have to say that the Clotted Cream was perfect, not in the least runny and stayed exactly where it was put on our scones.

This was delivered on 4th February from Bedworth Tesco. I came to use it today 6th February having prepared my scones but upon taking the outer cardboard off I noticed that the plastic pot had been opened and three quarters of the cream had been used. I could hardly believe this. I phoned the helpline only to be told that I would receive a refund in a few days time. However the rest of the ingredients have had to be thrown away as scones without cream just isn’t the same. I feel that with all the money I spend at Tesco I was passed off without any thought of my loyalty.
Very runny :(
As a treat I'd brought the clotted cream to have scones and jam. Unfortunately it was so runny, it was more like pouring cream. I've never brought a clotted cream that's been runny. Although the taste was fine, it just wasn't the same! Treat ruined!!! This must be a bad batch.
Not thick Cornish Clotted cream
The taste was ok but it is not like real Cornish clotted cream. It did have the traditional crust on top but was runny not nice and thick so just ran off the top of my scones. Very disappointed as it was a treat for my Cornish husband.
Not bad, but a bit too runny. Sadly Tesco didn't
Not bad, but a bit too runny. Sadly Tesco didn't deliver me any scones, so I had to use 'lockdown scones'.... Warburton sandwich thins. With some raspberry jam it was quite nice anyway
Usually fine, but this time runny??
I've bought this clotted cream a few times before and it's been perfectly fine, lovely and thick. However, on this occasion it was completely runny, like double cream. It all ran off the scones and all over the plate. I stored it in exactly the same way as other times before (in the fridge) when it has always been thick, like clotted cream should be. Not sure if there have been a few bad batches recently as other customers seems to be experiencing the same. I'll probably buy it again once more, as this is the first time it's been runny for me, however if it is runny again, I'll be buying another brand.
We read others comments on this cream feeling in 2 minds... our cream was FANTASTIC.... tasted and texture perfect.
Clotted Cream Roulette
I wish I'd read the reviews, it seems like you get lucky or you don't. I didn't. Beneath the top crusty layer the cream was not clotted, and was very runny. We ended up using spoons to take some cream along with a bite from the scone. And of course it was kept in the fridge.
Sadly terrible. Runny - about the consistency of double cream, just with a very slight crust. I could see it moving under the surface when I moved the tub to open it. Useless as a result for scones unless you put it in a bowl, I guess, and ate it with a spoon...
To thin, ran off my scones, I was the clot for not following the reviews Will stick with Rodda in future.
