One of our growers, Barfoots of Botley, is a family owned business which has been growing sweetcorn for over 20 years. Nathan and his skilled team grow sweetcorn on the south coast of England where the long, clear summer days allow the sunshine to fill the kernels with sweetness. One of our growers, Michael, has been growing sweetcorn in Senegal for over 10 years. Michael and his skilled team grow sweetcorn in fields bathed in tropical sunshine where the cobs are hand harvested to be tender and bursting with flavour. All their sweetcorn is grown sustainably to ensure that their vegetable production supports the environment and local community.

Microwave

Instructions: - Pierce bag and place sweetcorn on a non-metallic plate and place into microwave.- Heat on full power for 4 minutes 30 seconds (800W)/3 minutes 30 seconds (900W).- Allow to stand for 1 minute.- Take care when opening as contents will be hot.

Cooking Instructions

Instructions: - Remove packaging. Wash before use.Important- Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

Grill

Instructions: - Pre-heat grill to high heat.- Place sweetcorn on a wire rack over a grill pan on the top oven shelf.- Cook for 20 minutes, turning frequently.

Hob

Instructions: - Place sweetcorn in a pan of boiling water.- Cover and bring back to the boil.- Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes.- Drain. Serve immediately.

Oven cook

Instructions: - Pre-heat oven to 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6., 40-45 mins- Wrap sweetcorn in foil and place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven.
