way too sweet
way too sweet
I wish I had read the reviews of these before buying. I took one mouthful and couldn't believe how sweet they were. Tasted like sugar, not vinaigrette. You buy things like this as a healthy option so why would you fill them with sugar, it makes no sense. And as others have mentioned, some of the beans are very hard, are they supposed to be eaten uncooked?
NOT IN WATER - IN VINAIGRETTE!
Not as described! It's in vinaigrette not water!
This has 8% of daily sugar allowance in 1/2 a can
For some reason this product has a high sugar (8% of daily allowance in 1/2 can) and high salt content (10% of daily allowance in 1/2 can). Tesco Three bean salad has equivalent levels of 1% sugar and < 1% salt - this was the level I expected I will carefully study the product information from now on!
So much sugar makes these beans inedible. It’s states on the front of the tin ‘in water’. It doesn’t mention also 8tsps of sugar.
Too sweet??? No - they’re delicious
We love these beans. We are pretty much sugar free in our household but I can honestly say they are delicious and not too sweet. Can’t understand the reviews which say too sweet!,
Tasty, quick, easy
I absolutely love eating this even just on its own cold from the can. Easy way to get some veggies in with a great taste for when you don't have any time to cook.
Is this supposed to be served as a dessert because it is so horribly sweet. And it's not just a hint of sweetness, the main flavour here is sweet. Ugh. There is no place for sugar in a bean salad.
Damn you Corn!
Corn is not a bean... it has no place in this can.
Too sweet. There's no need to put sugar in a mixed bean salad. Contrary to other reviews I did find the beans quite soft, but I did microwave them for about 4 mins. It is not clear from the packaging whether they are ready to eat or must always be cooked.
