This product has been around for decades and I think the perception was it was a good product. I think it is now far too refined and when cooked produces an insipid slop which does not begin to resemble oatmeal, very shocking given the cost of this.
The only one for me
The only one for me.
Eco package and great oats
Lovely oats.....and well done Scott’s for the simple cardboard box packaging.
feel the warmth of the oats
best breakfast ever i love it and its.not just for breakfast i have it any time of day
IMHO......best oats ever
Definitely great oats.....every time. I’ve been enjoying this brand for over 50 years and no matter how you choose to make your porridge this brand always delivers. Oats cook quickly leaving deliciously creamy porridge even when made with only water (yes readers, this is a perfectly good recipe) but lately I have been making with a 50/50 milk and water blend, no salt, a smidge of sugar and then a generous sprinkling of Tesco’s sweet cinnamon.......mmmmmmm great start to the day.
stick with these
I recently bought another brand of oats as I had run out of Scott's. Never again. We are not fussy people but they were truly awful. We could not finish the first bowl I had cooked. The birds will be getting the rest. There was no comparison to these. I will always stick with Scott's in the future.
apple cinnamon porridge lovely
Lovely breakie made with grated apple milk and cinnamon, on the hob, very healthy don't need sugar cos of apple
Spoiled by black specs
Would have got 4 stars but a lot of black specs
Great porridge - microwave it.
40g a portion is huge, 20g is fine. Add milk, sugar and salt?? Why? Add water only. 100g and give it 4 minutes in the nuker. (Make sure you use a large bowl) Why try and make a healthy product unhealthy. And someone suggested Not using a microwave, because it kills nutrients. WRONG. Generally microwave reduces nutrient loss. Google it.
