Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Oven

Instructions: Remove pork from packaging and rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before roasting. Place in a roasting tin and pat dry the rind of the joint with kitchen paper. Rub rind with a little oil and season generously with salt. Place in centre of pre-heated oven and cook for: OVEN 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 7 Chilled For cooking time, see front of pack After first 30 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 200°C /Fan 180°C/Gas 6 and cook for remaining time. Remove from oven and rest for 10 minutes. Remove string and crackling, carve and serve.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.
