No More Plastic Packing for Organic Food!
Product ok, but it seems crazy that the only ORGANIC rapeseed oil is NOT cold-pressed and is in a PLASTIC bottle! Tesco's own organic olive oil is in glass, why not the rapeseed? With recent publication of statistics on microplastics in our food and bodies, why package an organic oil in plastic? Frustrating also that all organic veg are still plastic wrapped when other options are available. It's a dilemma - buy organic, or buy plastic-free? Please could you address this issue ASAP? Many thanks, from a would-be ethical shopper!
The best oil for cooking
I use this oil for all cooking which requires it; great for frying or roasting. And it is organic so you know it will be a healthy oil. A tad expensive but better to pay more and know it is safe and healthy to cook with. I would not use any other oil (apart from Tesco organic olive oil, which is also excellent).
Should Have tried It Long Ago
Very good all rounder, British product. I seem to need less of this when frying...... at first use always had a lot left in the pan after frying . ( I keep once used oil to add to seed and oats for my bird porridge so know not how it stores). This oil tastes fine, slightly heavier than other oils and does not seem to soak into the fried food; impressive, anyway.
