Supplied very under ripe - they never ripened
They arrived as hard as cricket balls. I waited for them to ripen. They never did. In the bin.
Agree with the other reviewers, these are hard & green, mine became brown & mushy in certain places while I waited for them to ripen. Nasty actually, won't buy these again.
Not worth buying
I have bought these three times over three weeks now. The first time they were beautifully ripe and sweet. A joy to eat. The next two purchases have been horrible. Hard and tasteless. Total waste of money. Won’t buy again.
These were not yellow they were green and did not ripen. Waste of money. (I had thought they might be lovely Victoria plums.)
Not ripe after 2 weeks
I bought a punnet of these two weeks ago but they show no sign of ripening yet. I have not the chance to find out what they taste like.
After a week they still were solid , tried one today absolutely rock hard sour and tasteless, don’t buy
Great plums very juicy
These plums were delicious to firm to eat right away 2 days later they were perfect
Arrived a bit hard, so I left them in the basket for a week... They became soft but tasteless and with an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. So, cause I don't like waste food, I cooked them in a crumble, they ruined it! Disgusting, I had better threw them in the bin 😓
We want more next year.
Bought them in extra store to try and ripen at home. After about 1 week, the yellow plum is too delicious to refuse. We came back to Tesco for another punnet but unfortunately, they are no longer available...
Unripe even after nearly a week without refrigeration. Typical of Tesco’s fruit. I should have known better.
