Rich, juicy black fruit and savoury spices with a satisfying long and complex finish. Working hand in hand with a major winery in Abruzzo that have access to wonderful parcels and high quality grapes grown on steep hills with a view of the stunning blue waters of the Adriatic coast. The 2015 vintage is heralded as "the best ever". A perfect match with roast meats and char grilled steak.

Hand picked grapes are traditionally vinified by means of a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature in appropriate stainless steel tanks. The must is frequently pumped over onto marc to ensure colour extraction and aromatic precursors. Wine resulting from this process is left to decant in stainless steel tanks.
