Widely recognised as one of the best vintages of the last half century and comparable with the iconic wines from 1982, 1990 and 2000, the wines have the potential to last for up to 30 years in some cases. James Griswood, our wine expert, went to Bordeaux in April 2010 to taste from barrel, and purchase an array of superb wines, including a selection from the worlds most famous Châteaux. Pricing - All of our Bordeaux 2009 prices are inclusive of Duty, VAT and delivery. There are no hidden extras.
Most of the wines are available to view and purchase online. With any high value bottles however we advise that in order to complete your transaction you contact our Wine Advisors by phone or email. This allows us to arrange specialised deliveries to ensure your wine is received as requested.

The Wines
- Every effort has been made to ensure the facts, tasting notes and scores are correct for every wine but we apologise for any factual errors that may occur.
- All wines are only available 'duty paid' and cannot be purchased 'under bond'.
- Although many of the wines are available and will be delivered in wooden boxes these wooden boxes do not have 'burnt ends' relating to the Chateau.
Purchasing
- To ensure as many customers as possible have the opportunity to purchase the wines they wish, we have put bulk buy limits on all the lines.
- These limits vary depending on case availability and can be increased or decreased at any time at Tesco's discretion.
- Several lines are only available via the wine advisor channel to ensure they are delivered via a dedicated courier where possible.
- On the lines available only via the wine advisor channel, payment will only be processed at specific times.
Delivery
- We highly recommend that customers have their wine delivered at a date and time when they are available to receive it.
- For some products customer signature at the time of delivery will be required.
- We may decline to deliver to some locations including without limitations, bonded warehouses, professional wine storage facilities or similar premises.
