Fresh, fruity and ripe with citrus and tropical fruit flavours - pretty impressive for something that's only 5.5%
Thanks to clever winemaking techniques and grapes harvested at naturally lower alcohol levels, this manages to be both delicious and light.

Of the 2013 vintage, Jamie Goode said: "Alcohol gives wine 'body' - that satisfying, mouth-filling-feel - so it is far from easy to make a convincing bottle at 5.5% alcohol. This is one of the better efforts. Fruity and just off-dry, it's simple, clean and quite pure, with refreshing acidity."
Summer Light is ‘Lighter in alcohol, Fuller in flavour'. Meaning that throughout the process the winemaking team has produced a full-flavoured wine based drink which doesn't compromise on taste or enjoyment, perfect for the more health conscious consumer. Grapes were picked and crushed at optimal ripeness to give the best flavour and naturally lower levels of alcohol. Then, with careful winemaking techniques and cutting edge technology the wine is reduced to 5.5%ABV whilst retaining body, flavour & colour
Fruit was carefully selected from various regions to balance style & flavour profile of the wine. The climate is hot with high evaporation rates & generally low rainfall making irrigation essential. The climate is also continental resulting in long sunny days & noticeably cooler nights. Modern viticultural & winemaking techniques mean that the climate can be seen as one of the region's strengths. Long sunshine hours ensure fruit ripens fully & low relative humidity results in little incidence of disease
