Expert Opinion

What our expert says

Serving: Ideally chill white wine in the fridge for no more than 1 to 2 hours – if you serve the wine too cold you will mask some of the aromas and flavours. Before you serve take the wine out the fridge and if it’s very cold leave it on the side for 20 minutes. Food Matches: Fruity, full bodied white wines such as new world Chardonnay or Viognier are a good match with stronger flavoured dishes. They go well with meaty fish such as tuna or salmon, thick creamy risotto topped with parmesan, roast chicken or pork. Fruity, lighter bodied wines such as Pinot Grigio go well with nearly all cuisines or make a great aperitif.

This review is for the 2007 vintage

Unfortunately four out of the six Wines were 'Corked' and had to be returned- Great shame as it ruined our Dinner Party- We order wine from Tesco on a regular basis and have always had great wines. Guess we were just unlucky with this choice.
