This medium bodied blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon boasts ripe plum and berry fruit flavours, soft tannins and subtle oak

This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 2 years
Matthew Jukes - Weekend (Daily Mail) 25/03/2012Of the 2009 vintage, Matthew Jukes said: “One of the best wines in the JC portfolio, this beautifully balanced medium-weight red fights way above its price point, particularly when it’s slashed. With briary fruit and a savoury, long finish this is a delicious red.”
Hamish Anderson - Daily Telegraph Magazine 23/02/2013Of the 2009 vintage, Hamish Anderson said: “Blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz (or Syrah, as it is also known) is very much an Australian speciality. Jacob’s Creek delivers a textbook introduction to the style, the plum and bramble fruit side of Syrah cut by Cabernet’s structure.”
Winemaking at our place has been a tradition since 1847 when Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek.
Bernard Hickin
Warm to hot weather conditions were encountered early in the season across all viticultural regions, but this was followed by milder weather from early February through to late March as the harvest progressed, creating near-perfect conditions for ripening and producing sound fruit with bright, fresh varietal flavours, vibrant colours and rich yet soft tannins.

But no more than that. If you must spend so little , get the grenache shiraz , which is a bit smoother.

A top quality wine full of flavour at a really good price - buying a few cases at a time of this wine gives me the opportunity to take advantage and stock up when exceptional wine by the case offers like this one come along. Would not hesitate to take up similar offers again.

There is not a lot to say on this wine other it is consistantly good, the taste is vey good on the palate not strong just right. I am a lady and I do not like heavy wines so this is great,

We have been fans of Jacob's Creek wines for many years and have very rarely been disappointed. This vintage of a Shiraz and Cabernet blended wine is possibly as good as it gets and has a highly enjoyable medium body with just a taste of smooth oakiness. Congratulations to the Tesco wine buyers for offering a highly drinkable wine at a great price.

This is my wife's favourite wine so I buy many bottles for her. Unfortunately quite a few bottles recently delivered by Tesco have been 'corked'. The wine being fizzy and tasting bad. She is threatening to buy from another supermarket at a higher price to try to obtain a better result.

I find this service to be cheap and convenient. It does what it says on the tin!! By ordering online I save myself the hassle of buying and carrying from the store. The cheapness comes from selecting the offers that are available, just a pity the wine isnt priced this low all the time!! I have bought cases by this method numerous times and only once has there been a problem.
