Bursting with ripe, juicy raspberry and cherry fruit flavours.
Light bodied, beautifully balanced and truly scrumptious.

This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 2 years
Jane MacQuitty - The Times 30/03/2013Of the 2011 vintage, Jane MacQuitty said: “Delicate, melt-in-the-mouth, new-season lamb really only has one partner, and that’s Beaujolais. Great 2009 and grand 2010 Beaujolais is hard to get on supermarket shelves now, has the vibrant, young, juicy, plum and bubble-gum styled 2011 Louis Jadot Combe Aux Jacques.”
From the tip of Chablis to the toe of Beaujolais, from regional , village, 1ER and Grand Cru wines, Louis Jadot (Est. 1859) makes wines from the length & breadth of Burgundy. The 'Bacchus' label being a reliable stamp from this complex region.
Jacques Lardière
Beaujolais is the most southern part of the Burgundy region, made up of many villages which are classified for producing fruit that can go into the top Cru wines, Beaujolais Villages or Beaujolais.

Why has this wine risen in price so much in the last 6 months? It's only 8.99 at the wine press!

An excellent wine with lots of flavour. Good with food but also extremely quaffable as a stand alone drink.

A very drinkable red with consistent quality . Very good value at 7.50/7.99 but not at 10.49

Having been a confirmed Beaujolais Red drinker for many years, I fancied a change. So on New Year, in 1995's New Year's resolution I decided to change to White Wine. Imagine my delight, when I recently returned to Beaujolais Red. It was just so wonderful!

Louis Jadot is a consistently good label and has a good range of wines of which the Beaujolais Villages is best and most suited to my pocket and when it is on special offer I normally would buy four to eight dozen boxeswhatever the vintage but obviously the more recent.

We first discovered this wine while on a cruise and loved it that much we remembered the name etc so we could try to find it when we got, home. I soon discovered that Tesco stocked it, not in our local store but available on line. We only buy it when its on offer as it is quite expensive but its really nice amd a couple of cases dont last very long in this house.

I like a good red wine but have to say that after one glass of this I was away with the faries! Great with a nice cheese board.

I was very pleased to be able to buy this wine. It is for a gift for my elderly father and it is the one wine he really enjoys. I hope that you continue to sell it as it is not available in store.

This is always a good 'drinking' wine (without food). BUT... too expensive compared to the tesco Beau,Vill.
