Nottage Hill was named in honour of Thomas Nottage who, aged 15, joined his uncle Thomas Hardy in 1884 and worked for the firm for 66 years before retiring in 1950. He managed Hardy's vineyards and cellars at McLaren Vale, South Australia. Since 1853 when Thomas Hardy set up his winery after emigrating from England to Australia, Hardys has crafted some of Australia's best-known and most popular wines. Enjoy this with roast chicken with sage, lemon and garlic or chilli prawns.
Peter Hensel
Fruit for this wine was mainly sourced from the Riverland in South Australia where riper fruit parcels were specifically selected to achieve a style rich in body and flavour.

I really like this wine but I wouldn't pay full price for it. I will only buy it when it's on offer and this is a good price. So easy to order online, always delivered on time and straight to your door, what more could you ask for. Thanks Tescos.

A fresh, easy drinking style of Chardonnay with some citrus fruit. However, I felt at £8.49 this wine was over-priced for the quality.

This is a an enjoyable wine that will suit a variety of occasions as it is not a heavily oaked chardonnay, but has a depth of flavour that makes it memorable without being overpowering.

This chardonnay has very strong fruit flavours without a strong oakey taste and is ideal for drinking on its own or with chicken or fish dishes

Easy to drink on its own or with a meal. Smooth, not too sweet, not too dry. Best served very chilled. I frequently buy this, especially if its on offer.
