Established in 1924, Le Cellier des Princes is one of the largest producers in the appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is, and always has been, one of the most important players in the growth and the recognition of this prestigious appellation, focusing on producing quality driven wines reflective of their terroir.
Thierry Ferlay
Châteauneuf du Pape is a well-known appellation situated in the Rhône Valley in the southeast of France. Only wines made within the appellation can be called Châteaneuf du Pape and wine makers are limited to using only 13 grape varieties in the blend. The most important white grapes include Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne.

Bought this at the Tesco Wine Fair In September for drinking at Christmas. It did not disappoint . Wonderfully smooth. One of the best wines I have had. Will certainly buy again.
