This wine hails from the Penedes region in north-eastern Spain, and is freshness in a bottle.
Made by one of Spain's most famous winemaking families, Torres, this is really zippy with lots of bright lemon fruit, and at under 12%
is a lighter take on a crisp, dry white.
Serve chilled as an aperitif, or with seafood.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 1 year

Of the 2013 vintage, Hamish Anderson said: "Last year was the 51st vintage of Vina Sol, so it must be doing something right. On early labels it described itself as 'Spanish Chablis' (today highly illegal), which gives a good idea what it is about - fruity, with the kind of lip-smacking refreshment factor that demands a deep ice bucket and warm alfresco imbibing."

In 1962, having just completed his winemaking studies, Miguel A.Torres used a small winery in the Penedes mountains to ferment Parellada grapes at a low temperature and so Vina Sol came into being.
