André Carpentier Champagne 75cl

Sweet and lacking fruit. Smacks of a champagne that has been over dosed to make up for the lack of base concentration of fruit in the wine. The result- a sort of sugary watered down effect. It is cheap for a reason though and might be ok for summer quaffing if you chill it down enough. Not much of a champagne experience however. At this level, best invest your cash in a quality new world fizz or a decent top notch Cava.

This is a lovely bottle of fizz, and far too moreish. Excellent value when on offer.

This is the only champagne I drink. Its not too bitter, fruity, lively and delicious. Buy some!

Vet=y crisp, with a great lasting fizz. Great aroma and very fresh. Enjoy at this great price. All six bottles drunk without any problems.

An ideal champagne for those who don't want their champagne too dry or too sweet. Beautiful on its own or accompanying a dessert - great for just celebrations too!

Excellent buy! Champagne was less than half price, ideal for celebrating special occasions or giving away as a present. I have bought this product before and enjoyed the dry quality and refreshing taste of the champagne! Delivery slot was free because I bought two cases.

It is ok but not a strong flavour. Would not buy again. Better with orange juice which for me is a no no for a nice champagne.

Enjoyed the bubbly with nice bit of plaice , lovely flavour and goodly amount of bubbles . Pleasant aroma with notes melon on the tongue and best drunk with fish or pasta . It tasted even better because it was half price . Will buy this bubbly again when it come on offer .

A nice pleasant champagne for the money, if bought on a deal. Had a bottle of Veuve after though and you could tell which one was the quality brand.

My son and daughter in law an myself all think this is an excellent product

Was very happy to be able to purchase the Andre Carpentier champagne at such a good price, I really like this champagne,it has an elegant taste that lingers in your mouth, but not too complex and is much nicer than some more expensive champagnes, would drink it any time!

Very pleasant Fizz especially when available at a remarkable price. Lovely and fresh, gorgeous with seafood and shellfish.

Although not a top class champagne this is very good, full flavored with a good nose and a light fruity taste. Good at the price, excellent if you get a deal.

A crisp fresh non acidic champagne. Excallent value on this offer, I wish I had bought my full allowance.

An excellent low price champagne from a Co-operative, and just as good as champagne twice the price

I paid £9.17 per bottle on offer with wine club with online £5 voucher, tastes great and cheaper than buying in france.

Bought plenty of it over the years, always when on offer for around a tenner a bottle. Excellent value, tastes great. Don't ever get conned by paying more or less the same for CAVA or Prosecco despite claims that made to the champagne method etc etc. Be patient, when on sale, buy as many as you can afforrd

For those who like their Champagne not too dry, this hits the spot nicely. Personally I prefer a dry Champagne, but my wife much prefers the Carpentier, and I have to say that I also find it very drinkable. It has a well-balanced flavour and a delicate aroma, evoking memories of summer meadows. It is not a demi-sec at all, but just takes the edge off the dryness, which some people prefer. If you've been put off Champagne that was too dry, but find Demi-Sec too sweet, this would be an excellent compromise.

If looking for a cheaper alternative then this is the one, it's a good tasting champagne which is pleasant on the palette.

Although extremely fizzy, it is a good price (on offer) and tastes as good as some champagnes I have paid a lot more money for, it tastes nice and fruity and does not make you acidy at all. Good value, and good taste.

My wife came home from shopping at Tesco Lewisham. She informed me that some champagne was on sale at 50% discount and that we should buy some as it was the same brand that we had bought a few years ago, Charpentier,for a party. So I went on-line and ordered 4 x 6-bottle cases. The wine arrived on time at the nominated delivery slot time. Thank you Tesco. A Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to all at Tesco.

THis champagne is my favourite, it was introduced to me by a dear friend. Since trying the drink, I have made it my favourite and no other champagne compare to Andre Carpentier. The price was great just before the festive season, I bought enough to last me over the holiday period. Best choice in champaigne

I've been buying this champagne for over three years - it never disappoints, disappears far to quickly! It's light, refreshing, extremely easy to drink and very popular. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Tried it but would nt recommend! I thought all champagne I would like - wrong.

I have had this a couple of times as friends have bought it for me but I must say it is not that pleasant, even if it only cost £10 a bottle I wouldn't buy it. Just not my taste.

One of my favourite Champagnes It has a crisp yet full flavour which certainly benefits from being well chilled . This wine is definitely punching way above its weight and indeed price bracket .

We bought a few cases of this for my husband's 50th Birthday party. It was on offer which is why we chose this one and frankly I don't think you can go wrong with champagne - lovely!

This particular Bottle of champagne as all the ingredients of a Top Bottle but at a very reasonable price and it holds an expensive flavour, colour and texture, I like it very much..

Not offensive but to be honest i have had much nicer Vintage Cava. next time i will pay more for better,mean while who dont i like for xmas?

I bought this wine fo £12 and it was good value, soft not too dry,some fruit,and a touch of yeast, on the palate. overall 6.5 out of 10.

I purchased a box of this champagne for a wedding, I first saw a bottle of this in the supermarket and then checked online and saw there was a 50% discount offer! This made the champagne great value for money with the discount and points coming to less than 1/2 normal bottle price. Perfect transaction as always with shopping online with Tescos without compromising on the quality and taste of the product! Thank you.

This champagne with its delicate nose and fruity taste is the perfect balance of being dry without the sharp after taste of the bigger brand champagnes.

One of the best Champagnes around for quality and value especially when it's on discount. I have been drinking Andr Carpentier for some time now and it has increased in price considerably so I can only afford it when it's on discount, I assume price increase is because of the amount of sales. Hopefully the Christmas discount will be coming up soon and I will be able to get a couple of cases in for the festive celebrations.

I like this wine because it tastes great and is not too expensive, it is frequently on offer so you get good value for money.
