The grapes are harvested at optimum maturity to express the best fruit flavors of Grenache. Fermentation takes place in small barrels at a controlled temperature for 2 to 3 weeks. Vineyard management is in accordance with the environment with minimal use of fertilizers and pesticides.
The Rhone Valley extends between Lyon and Avignon. The wines of the Rhone Valley were already known from the Roman era. Of course, the popes in Avignon in the fourteenth century had made this vineyard prosperous. The art of winemakers have been able to exploit the diversity of soil, climate and grape varieties to produce the best quality wines.
Wines are made from a rigorous selection of grapes of Syrah and Grenache that have maturated and grown in the best vineyards in the southern part of the Rhone Valley. The hot and dry climate of the region enables the making of the classic red wines with some complexity and a high concentration of fruit.
