Pinot Grigio , Garganega Bianca
The grapes are softly pressed and separated from the stalks. Fermentation lasts for 10 days at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and then the juice spends a further 6 weeks on the lees to enhance the acidity and depth of fruit flavours.
Enoitalia is now one of the leading family owned wineries in Italy. Created in 1986 by the Pizzolo Family; it is run by Giorgio Pizzolo the Managing Director with his three brothers, Augusto, Giuliano and Floriano. The main production facility, based in Calmasino to the right of Lake Garda, boasts one of the most modern facilities in Europe.
The grapes come from the area of Veneto in the North-East of Italy which borders Lake Gerda to the west and the river Adige to the south. To the north of Veneto lie the rolling hills and highly mineral intense areas of the Piave river. The varied surrounding landscape and climate provide the ideal condition for growing the Pinot Grigio grape.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 1 year
