Sultanas, Raisins, Currants, Glucose Syrup, Orange Peel, Preservatives: Potassium Sorbate, Sulphur Dioxide, Lemon Peel, Sunflower Oil, Sugar, Acidity Regulator: Citric Acid
- Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, reseal, refrigerate and consume within two weeks.

Fruit Tea Loaf
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 50-550 minutes
60ml hot tea
200g Whitworths juicy mixed fruit
225g plain flour
1 Tsp baking powder
100g unsalted butter, at room temperature
100g light brown sugar
1 medium egg beaten
3-4 Tbsp milk
How to make
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to Gas 4, 180°C. Grease and line the base of a loaf tin 21.5 x 11.5cm.
Step 2 - Mix the tea with the fruit. Sieve the flour and baking powder into a bowl and rub in the butter until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Step 3 - Stir in the sugar and egg and add the fruit mixture. Mix well with enough milk to make a dropping consistency.
Step 4 - Put into the loaf tin and level the top. Bake in the oven for 50-55 minutes until golden and well risen (test with a skewer, if it comes out clean it is cooked). Turn out and cool,.
Wrap and keep for 24 hours before slicing and buttering.
