Product information
Product Details
Fresh tropical fruit on the nose with an attractive effervescence. The palate is soft with an intense strawberry flavour.
Since 1853 when Thomas Hardy set up his winery after emigrating from England to Australia, Hardys has crafted some of Australia's best known and most popular wines.
In 1850 at the age of 20, Thomas Hardy came to South Australia from England and established a winery on the banks of Adelaide's River Torrens in 1853 which went on to become an outstanding family wine business. He was a pioneer of immense character. Fruit for this wine was sourced from from quality vineyards around South Eastern Australia where ripe fruit parcels were selected to achieve a style that is full of flavour yet refreshing. Only free run juice is used which is then cool fermented to preserve aroma and fruit. Both the first and second fermentation took place in stainless steel with care taken to retain the wine's crisp, dry style.
