The Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is our signature single malt Scotch whisky. Made by the Distiller of the Year 2005 and 2006, Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been awarded a gold medal by the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition.
In 1886, William Grant set out create the "best dram in the valley" Within a year he had built his distillery in The Glen of Fiddich, Gaelic for The Valley of the Deer. The first spirit flowed from the stills on Christmas Day 1887.
The "best dram in the valley" still flows four generations later. The Grant family and the community of expert craftsmen at The Glenfiddich Distillery continue William Grant's original philosophy, preserving time honoured methods as well as exploring new possibilities in single malt Scotch whisky making.
