Product properties
An increasingly popular option due to its ease of cooking and carving, this
turkey crown is just succulent breast meat and prime wings with less waste and
no fuss for the festive period. Naturally quicker to cook than a whole bird and
is reared on British farms that meet Tescos high welfare standards. A medium
turkey crown serves 4 8 people and a large turkey crown serves 8 12 people.

Instructions
Oven
Temperature: 350°F,Gas 4,180°C
Other Instructions
Remove outer packaging. Leave crown in foil tray, cover loosely with foil and place into a roasting tray. Cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven 180ºC/350ºF/Gas Mark 4 basting occasionally during cooking and removing any excess juices. For fan assisted ovesn reduce oven temperature to 160ºC. Remove foil for final 15 minutes of cooking. Poultry is cooked if the juices run clear when the deepest part of the turkey breast is pierced with a thin skewer. If the juices are pink, continue cooking for a few minutes and retest. After cooking time, cover with foil and allow to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then remove the crown from the foil tray and ensure the ovenable pad is removed before carving. Check product is piping hot before serving. Freezing Guidelines
Freeze on day of purchase. Use within one month.
Defrosting
Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 35 hours in the refrigerator.Ensure the bird is completely defrosted by checking there are no ice crystals in the body cavity and the legs are flexible. IMPORTANT: If food has thawed, do not refreeze.
