Made with ground chickpeas, herbs and spices it is a simple yet delicious food that can be enjoyed as a snack or part of a main meal.

Preparation and Usage:
1 Empty contents of sachet into a heat-proof bowl.
2 Add 170ml of cold water, mix well and leave to stand for 3-4 mins.
3 Spoon into golf-ball size nuggets and fry in hot oil for 20-30 secs or until golden brown.
4 Drain off excess oil and serve warm.
Falafel Serving Suggestion
Falafel is fantastic for lunch or as a snack. It is also great as an appetiser or part of a mezze platter.
Try in a pitta with tahini, cucumber, tabouleh, lettuce, tomato and roasted red peppers.
For a healthy option, serve as part of a mixed salad and use Al'Fez houmous or harissa as a condiment.
Make an authentic Tahini Dressing for your Falafel
Mix 1/2 jar (135g) of Al'Fez Tahini with 1/4 cup of cold water, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 crushed garlic clove and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Garnish with flat leaf parsley and serve.
Why not try Falafel served on a bed of salad leaves and drizzled with your favourite dressing.
