As a convenient way to enjoy your DVDs away from home, in slim compact form, the Nextbase SDV48-A 7” tablet style portable DVD player is exceptional. The lowest priced member of the NextBase SDV48 and SDV49 ranges of in-car entertainment devices, the SDV48-A still has all the functionality you are looking for. Rig it up in your car with the kit included, or stand it on the desk in your hotel room. The 7" LED backlight high-resolution screen comes with a very wide viewing angle and an inbuilt anti-skip mechanism. The player has 2 speakers for sharing the movie with others, and a remote control is also included. For viewing the player privately, there is a standard 3.5mm headphone socket and volume wheel on the side of the player. So what are you or your kids in the back going to watch? Slot in a DVD just below the screen, or plug in any external video device such as a camcorder into the player and view the video on the screen. Alternatively, plug in a memory stick (up to 8GB) into the USB 2.0 port and view pictures or movies stored there. Similarly, you can use the AV cable (supplied as standard) to plug into a TV and let the SDV48 operate as a standard DVD player.
