Y Frame Discounts are one of the largest UK bike retailers on the Internet.We are a UK VAT Registered Business which sells directly to the public from our commercial warehouse and we don't have the large overheads of some large shops and this enables us to pass on savings directly to our customers.

We are a registered established business with a warehouse and several members of staff which are dedicated to customer service, we have an obligation to look after are customers and provide them with any necessary after sales service, we take pride in our ability to help our customers whenever they need it and any correspondence with our company, whether it be by phone call, letter or email, will be answered in a timely and efficient manner.

We are a company who can get you spare parts for everything we sell, thus giving us the time and capability to provide you with any after sales support you may need. Buying on the internet without this after sales service is like throwing your money away if there is a problem with your products at a later date.

All our bikes come with a full 1 year return to base warranty. In the event of a fault with a bike we are able to forward most required parts on to the customer. If the part needs checking or fitting by us the customer is responsible for returning the item back to us and all costs involved with transportation.

Delivery information

Q: Is there a delivery charge?
A: If your order is a large letter (fits into a standard envelope) we charge £0.50, Packets £1.59, Parcel £6.99 and all Bikes are £9.99. If you live in an out of area from standard delivery then these charges apply Parcel £7.50 and all Bikes are £14.99.

Q: When can I expect my delivery to arrive?
A: Once your order has been despatched, UK standard delivery is normally completed within 2-4 working days.

Please Note: - Working days are Monday to Friday except where this falls on a Bank Holiday.

Q: What delivery locations can I have online orders shipped to?
A: Online orders can be shipped to anywhere in the UK and any offshore UK Islands, Unfortunately we cannot ship to locations other than these at present.

Q: Do I have to be there to sign for my delivery?
A: Orders sent via Royal Mail will not require a signature although someone may need to be home to accept the delivery should the packaging be too large to post. Deliveries made by courier will always require a signature.

Q: Can I cancel a delivery I have placed online?
A: Once your order has been received you would be unable to cancel the delivery. You would need to take delivery of your order first, and if the parcel remains unwanted please contact our Customer Care team to arrange for details on how to return the item for a refund. Q: Can I change my delivery address once my order has been submitted online?
A: Unfortunately once you have submitted your order you will be unable to change the delivery address.

Q: What happens to my order if I am not there to receive my parcel?
A: If there is no one to receive your parcel, whether it is being delivered by Royal Mail or by courier, a card will be posted through your door advising of a delivery attempt. There will be a contact telephone number on there for your local branch. If you telephone the number on the card you will be able to re-book a delivery day, or arrange to pick the parcel up from the depot.

Returns policy

Y Frame Discounts Ltd will accept the return of any unused and unpacked item within 14 days of receipt. The customer is responsible for the safe return of the item in good condition in the original undamaged packaging. Any item returned used or damaged or with damaged packaging will be charged for.

We are unable to accept any bike back which has been unpacked and built or any items attached to it like pedals etc, All cycles and accessories are brand new unless clearly stated. Cycles come 90% assembled unless stated otherwise. You must check all nuts and bolts before riding the cycle as sometimes these can work loose in transit. Fitting of pedals, handlebar stem, front wheel, & seat is normally required. All of the above are tested before they leave us. Gears and brakes sometimes need minor adjustment. We reserve the right to alter specification without prior notice.

The pedals and threads are precession made on the crank and are fully tested before they leave the factory. You must put the pedals on the bike correctly. If you are sitting on the bike, then put the right pedal on the right and left pedal on the left hand side. You must put the pedals on by hand until it is impossible to do any more, but you should be able to turn them 3-4 turns before it gets stiff. If you do this incorrectly you will damage the threads and we will not cover this under the warranty

All bikes have a 1 year warranty and all warranties are return to base. If any work has been done on the bike by yourself or a third party to try to rectify a warranty problem then this will invalidate your warranty. The customer is responsible for the return postage.

All bikes must be checked and signed for on delivery BEFORE the driver leaves you stating that the goods are NOT damaged. If it is damaged you must state this when signing for the item by writing DAMAGED on the form.  (Failure to do this will invalidate your claim and no refunds will be given) you have 24 hours from the time of delivery to report any problems.

Any shortages on delivery should be reported within 24 hours.

All items must be checked and tested within 14 days of delivery, after this period your item will be covered by a 1 year return to base warranty. Please do not leave negative feedback before giving us the opportunity to resolve any problem.

Under the DSR cancellation agreement the customer is responsible for the arrangement of the return and return postage costs on any refused or unwanted item.

We try to describe the item as accurately as possible, but due to manufacturing changes, sometimes they change minor specifications without notice so we reserve the right the change these specifications without notice.

We will only refund the cost of 2nd class Postage if an item is faulty or for the return of a incorrect item sent out within 14 days.

Any item refused and returned back to us unused will be refunded minus postage cost.

Unwanted goods that are returned to Y Frame Discounts Ltd, after the 14-day return period but within a reasonable period of time. Y Frame Discounts reserves the right to levy a handling charge of 20% of the invoice value, with a minimum charge of £10 to be charged on goods which are not defective.

We're happy to offer an exchange or a refund on any item, as long as it's returned with the receipt or proof of purchase. The item also has to be in exactly the same condition as it was when it was sold. This includes all tags, although these do not have to be attached, all the parts, the packaging etc. Any bike wish you wish to return for an exchange must be still in its original box and not Built. Any bike which has been built will not be accepted as a return. If you are unsure of the size then take the unbuilt bike out of the box put it against your child and only build it if you are happy it is the correct size.

We apply a Seasonal Refund Policy Amendment from 1st November to 31st December to items given or received as Christmas Gift. Under this amendment the 14 day time limit for refunds starts on 1st January, but the start of the warranty is still the day of purchase.

The customer will be responsible for the return postage cost and the original postage charge to resend the item back out. Please contact our customer service team on 01623 232126 or to arrange this.
