Author's Biography

Sam Lloyd is a versatile artist whose books have won numerous awards including the Booktrust Pre-School Award 2006 and the V&A Illustration Award for Mr Pusskins and the Roald Dalh Funny Prize 2009 for Mr Pusskins Best in Show (both by Orchard Books). Calm Down, Boris!, her Templar Publishing debut, won the Richard and Judy Best Children's Book in 2006 and You're Not So Scary, Sid! won the Sheffield Baby Book Award 2009. Contributor location: Sam lives in Brighton, England, with her son Ozzy and their ginormous ginger cat.
