Coldplay’s sixth album 'Ghost Stories' is the eagerly-awaited follow-up to 2011’s 'Mylo Xyloto', which went to No. 1 in over 34 countries and was the UK's best-selling album of that year.
'Ghost Stories' is a very different proposition to 'MX' though, with echoes of the more stripped-back, intimate sound of their debut LP 'Parachutes' and its successor 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head', and the lyrical content makes for an incredibly personal, honest and heartfelt album.
The release of 'Ghost Stories' was announced alongside the launch of a video for 'Midnight' which was quickly followed by the hugely infectious first single 'Magic', which showed that the obvious route is not always the best, and 'Magic' has grown over the weeks and now feels like a Coldplay classic.
