An easy-going rosé with plenty of fresh strawberry flavours- Made by one of Australia’s most awarded producers, this is great as an apéritif or with spicy food.
Higgovale Heights Shiraz Mourvèdre Viognier 2011, South Africa, 14.5%
A fantastic mix of Shiraz, Mourvèdre and a dash of white Viognier, it’s rich and loaded with plum and blackcurrant, alongside a hint of violet.
Faustino Rivero Rioja Reserva 2008, Spain, 13%
This classic reserva, made from Tempranillo and Garnacha, is aged for two years in barrels- This produces delicious plum and cherry flavours with a hint of spice.
Jacktone Ranch Chardonnay 2011, USA, 13%
Grown in California, this is a fantastically bright Chardonnay with vibrant, fresh citrus flavours- There is a lovely hint of vanilla too- Great with roast chicken.
Poggio al Sale Chianti 2012, Italy, 13%
This wine is mostly made from Sangiovese – the grape of Chianti- The result is a supple, juicy red with gorgeous redcurrant and cherry flavours- A great partner for meaty pasta dishes.
Faustino Rivero Rioja Rosado 2011, Spain, 12.5%
As much as you might love the reds from Rioja, sometimes only pink wine will do! Made from Garnacha grapes, this is juicy and bright with fresh strawberry and cherry flavours.
