Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
The Piedmont region, in northwest Italy, produces incredible red wines like Barolo but does a great white too, called Gavi.
Made from the Cortese grape, this is a beautiful example from top producer Ascheri, with aromatic floral and citrus aromas.
Lovely apple flavours, too.
One for simple grilled chicken or fish dishes.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 3 years

The Ascheri Cellars originated in La Morra: in that area, where a place called “Ascheri” still exists, in the early 19th century the first vines were planted and the first wines produced. A reliable account dating back to that period and concerning the “Ascheri” vine cultivation method (then considered modern for its technical innovations) clearly shows how , since its very beginning, the Ascheri Winery stood out for its commitment and innovative methods.
Rocca Ripalta is a brand name of Ascheri Cellars and is related to the ancient name of RIVALTA, the area in the commune of La Morra where the Ascheri place is. The Gavi area is in the South of Piemont in Alessandria Province.
