Author's Biography

Karen Farrington is a writer and former Fleet Street journalist, specializing in the study of conflict throughout the 20th century. For this book, she has interviewed veterans from around the world, obtaining a unique insight into the war through the eyes of those on the front line. She has credits on over 40 non-fiction titles, including Normandy to Berlin: Into the Heart of the Third Reich, Victory in the Pacific: Pearl Harbor to the Fall of Okinawa, and Victory in Europe: D-day to the Fall of Berlin.
