Vampire Weekend have certainly come a long way since their self-produced debut album of the same name released in 2008. Modern Vampires of the City is intended to mark the last in a trilogy of albums, following some of the same characters and themes with slightly darker rock/indie overtones. Recorded in New York and Los Angeles, Ezra Koenig, Chris Tomson, Chris Baio and Rostam Batmanglij took their time in order to create 12 tracks with feeling and depth. Fans at Coachella loved the catchy performance of new single Diane Young, a vocally challenging track, and you can get your hands on it plus songs such as Ya Hey and Everlasting Arms with your copy of Modern Vampires of the City on CD from Tesco Direct .
