Chablis Premier Cru 2010, France, 13%
This stunning Premier Cru Chablis is a beautifully complex wine with apple and apricot flavours and a hint of spice- There are only 17 Premier Cru classified regions, and their quality is a cut above standard Chablis- Combines power and elegance.
Saint-Véran 2011, France, 13%
Saint-Véran, in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy, is famous for its lovely ripe fruit flavours and this wine does not disappoint- Satisfyingly rich, it’s full of fresh tropical fruit- Gorgeous with roast chicken or Christmas turkey with all the trimmings.
Montagny La Réserve 2010, France, 13%
Montagny is made up of four villages in the southern part of the Côte Chalonnaise region, and the soils bring a really vibrant freshness to the Chardonnay grape-Rich, ripe and full of character, this has generous apple and spice flavours.
Bourgogne Chardonnay 2012,France, 12.5%
Made by the fantastic Caves de Prissé in the Mâconnais region, this Chardonnay is all about the fruit, pure and simple- It has ripe peach flavours, together with fresh citrus aromas, and it’s an absolute classic- A brilliant match for smoked salmon dishes.
Saint-Véran La Réserve 2011, France, 12.5%
Despite being a relatively late starter – the appellation wasn’t created until 1971 – Saint-Véran is widely recognised as a star performer in Burgundy-This wine, from the new La Réserve range, has incredible richness and depth with a distinctive orangepeel note.
Montagny Premier Cru 2011, France, 13%
The stunning Montagny Premier Cru vineyards lie on limestone hills, and the craggy vineyards produce intensely flavoured grapes-With its stone-fruit flavours and rich texture, this is a smart addition to the table and a great match for turkey or goose.
