What do I need?
No specific qualifications are needed for our in-store roles but we do look for a number of key skills. If we’re looking for a certain level of experience, we’ll let you know in the job description for the role.

Store Colleagues
Our store colleagues are always busy, from helping customers and keeping things tidy to supporting the team. Their hard work helps improve store performance. There’s plenty of shift flexibility and chances to learn, making our grocery store jobs exciting and rewarding.
Cafe Colleagues
Our Cafés offer a little something extra to our customers and colleagues. As a Café colleague, you’ll be providing a service that helps everyone enjoy that well-deserved break. Our chefs cook fresh food, baristas craft delicious coffees and our Customer Service Team ensures customers leave with a smile.
Shift Leaders
Our Shift Leaders keep our shops happy. They manage shifts, guide our team, and work with managers to enhance store operations, ensuring our customers have a great experience. They lead by example and support our Store Colleagues with training and advice.
Store Managers
Store Managers are the heart of our shops. They over see everything from recruitment and training to reporting and store performance. Our Store Manager jobs are full of interesting challenges, and a feeling of real ownership over the store.
Team Managers
Our Team Managers’ number one priority is their team. They’re brilliant communicators who are passionate about training, coaching and supporting their team. They work closely with Store Managers, help make decisions and explore what competitors are doing.
Phone Shop Colleagues
Our Phone Shop Colleagues get customers connected, helping them find the phone and network plan that suits them. Spending their day with Tesco Mobile customers, they’re always ready for a chat.
Pharmacy
