Deliver a reliable service
Whatever you’re delivering, our drivers are vital to making things a little better for customers. By being reliable, on-time and providing a great service, you’ll help our stores and distribution centres deliver what’s needed, every time.
Work with autonomy
For most of the day, you’ll be your own boss. Getting from A to B and meeting different customers or colleagues, depending on your role. Enjoy freedom to plan your day, with our tech guiding you along the way.
Driving qualifications
Our HGV jobs require a full HGV 1 (C+E) EU licence with no more than six penalty points, along with a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC). You need a valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.

Great customer service skills
You’ll be great with people, able to build relationships with your colleagues, and comfortable being the face of Tesco while out on the road
A calm and collected approach
You’ll stay cool under pressure while you do your best to deliver for customers on time. And be ready to adapt your plans to fit the situation.
A hands-on, safety-first attitude
You’ll be happy to take on responsibility, a champion for road safety, and always mindful of health and safety protocols both in and out of the van
