Expert Opinion

What our expert says

If ever there was a wine that was springtime bottled, this is it! It’s fresh, crisp and bursting with green apple and grapefruit flavours. Pecorino’s a cheese! Yes, but it’s also a grape. Both are named after the pecora (Italian for sheep), which, according to local legend, were often found nibbling the vines. This wine is sourced in Terre di Chieti in central Italy. This is where the highest quality Pecorino grapes can be found – as long as the sheep haven’t got there first! Being Italian, it loves its food – fish, chicken even a tasty spring veg frittata.
