Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
A standout example of just how vibrant and fruit-loaded the wines from Tejo can be.
Rich and ripe with intense black fruits and a touch of spice and mocha, together with silky, supple tannins.
Best served at room temperature – and if organised, decanted for at least half an hour beforehand.
Definitely a food wine – try with roasted or grilled red meats.

Extended product information

Portugal has an ancient tradition in winemaking. Its very different weather and soil conditions made possible the creation of several distinctive wines in a small territory. Enoport Group unified some of the oldest and well known Portuguese wine companies, Caves Velhas, Caves Dom Teodósio, Adegas Camillo Alves, Caviporand Caves Moura Basto, all with recognition in national and foreign markets.
Tejo is a region of not very steep relief that includes a great variety of micro climates and types of soils. The wines produced here show an excellent and increasing quality that breaks a little with the characteristics of the past. They are full bodied with a strong character.
