Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
This is a lovely off-dry style of Cava, made from the traditional blend of grapes - Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo - but with a hint of sweetness.
Lots of fresh apple and lemon fruit, and a hint of toastiness.
Makes a great partner to fresh fruit, especially strawberries.

For those who find most fizz a bit too dry, or to match with fruity desserts and puddings, here's a delicious, rounded, grapey cava with a pleasant sweet, off-dry personality. It's still fresh, not at all cloying and excellent value.'
In 1551, Jaume Codorníu began making still wines in Penedès, Spain. In 1872, having studied the ‘champenoise method’ of sparkling wine production in Northern France, Josep Raventós, a descendant of Codorníu, applied the technique to the traditional Penedès grape varieties of Macabeo, Parellada & Xarel.Lo and created the first bottle of Cava. Today Codorníu is an award-winning winery with the best selling Cava brand in the UK and back home in Spain.
