Slyrs - That Boutique-y Whisky Company - Batch #3 German 2019 3 year old Whisky This 3 year old Single Malt was matured in a new American oak cask, to the heaviest char available, also known as ‘Crocodile Toast’ as the inside of the cask is charred so deep that it resembles the cracked skin of a crocodile.There is an initial fruitiness on the nose, with crisp green apples and fresh peaches. Hints of pear drops, Demerara sugar and caramel. Medium bodied on the mouthfeel, with honey, sweet grains, and hints of roast peanuts. Spicy with nutmeg and white pepper.
