It's vital to check the air pump and airline at least every six months by disconnecting the air pump and lowering the airline below the water line. In the unlikely event of leakage, a non-return valve can be fitted six inches from the air pump to safeguard against any potential mishaps.

If you wish to extend the length of the airline from your aquarium, this non-return valve provides a reliable solution, maintaining effective air pressure and flow.
