Description

tickit® Sensory Reflective Silver Balls are tactile and reflective and allow your child to experience a crazy distorted reality as though looking through a wide angled lens. The four silver balls have a smooth silvery mirrored surface and graduate in size. They can be used indoors and outdoors, making an eye-catching focal point for displays. The stainless steel construction makes them robust and highly durable with a premium feel, whilst still being lightweight for your child to easily carry and hold them. They are chemical free with no toxins and are ultra hygienic with their non-porous and naturally bacteria resistant qualities.Your child will enjoy making funny faces as they watch their stretched reflection in the surface and will find the way light reflects at different angles from the curved surfaces curious and interesting. A great way to inspire creative learning through play and encourage imagination and language skills.Nursery World Awards 2015"Suitable from birth, the Silver Sensory Reflective Balls provide a rich array of opportunities for babies and young children to experience multi-sensory play and engage in creative exploratory play and thinking. As children roll and move the mirrored spheres, they observe different effects, encouraging them to question and seek explanation for what they see. Made from hard wearing stainless steel, the balls range from 6cm to 15cm in diameter and can be used inside and out. Teaching assistant Steph Virgo from Weald Community Primary School in Kent, says they first used the balls on a sunny day outside and the children were fascinated by their reflective qualities, which lead to discussion about reflection and properties of light."Set Includes: 4 stainless steel balls.Size: 6cm, 8cm, 10cm and 15cm diameters.Age: Suitable for all ages.Product Code: 72201
