Easy-Life Easy Carbo is a powerful, liquid form of carbon dioxide (CO2) which is an essential for good plant growth. An easy to use alternative to gas bottles and diffusers, and for dosing daily, all planted aquaria will see a marked improvement by using this alone. For best results (in most aquariums) use with Easy Life Profito and Ferro.Key Features:An excellent introduction to the world of carbon fertilization, easy to use (just add the correct amount daily, ideally in the mornings) and away you go. A good stepping stone allowing you to see the benefits before buying an advanced gas bottle set up.It is widely used too by expert aquarists, especially in smaller set ups where a diffuser may be too big or look unsightly.Carbon (in the form of CO2 dissolved in the water) is one of the most important nutrients for optimal plant growth.In the absence of carbon, a plant cannot adapt and grow properly. As a result of this deficiency, plant growth comes to a standstill and plants no longer compete with algae for nutrients.If this carbon deficiency persists for too long, the plants will start to leak sugars and other nutrients that are attractive to algae. Result: algae and bad-looking leaves.
