Preparation and Usage

Create the Roses:

  • Take one row of salami as it sits in the pack (4 slices) and fold the entire row lengthways in the middle. Roll from one end to the other to create a rose shape.
  • Repeat 3 times with the other salami to create 4 roses (2 per coaster)

Create the Platter:

  • Wash coasters thoroughly before use.
  • Place a mild and a spicy salami rose on one side of each coaster.
  • Place two slices of cheese, standing on their edge, in the middle of the coaster next to the roses. The flower petals on the rinds should face opposite directions.
  • Add some taralli on the other side of the cheese.
  • Serving suggestion: add a few springs of herbs such as rosemary to embellish your platters.
