Preparation and Usage

Preparation: To enjoy your steak at its best , take out of the fridge and remove packaging 10 minutes before cooking. Rub or brush each side of the steak with a little oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

TIP: Slice an onion and fry it in the same pan as your steak. The flavours will release and caramelise on the steak, helping you make the tastiest sandwich.

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: PAN FRY High/Medium 2-4 minutes. Heat a heavy based frying pan over high heat until smoking. Reduce heat to medium, place steak in the dry pan and cook for 2-4 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. Remove steak from pan and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. These instructions are given as guideline only as steak thickness will vary slightly.
