Preparation and Usage

Allow the steaks to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking. Place butter portion to one side.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: Pan fry 5-7 mins. Add a little oil to a heavy based frying pan and heat over a high heat until hot. Add the lamb steaks to the pan with the rosemary sprigs and cook for 1 minute each side. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for a further 1 minute and 30 seconds each side (medium) or 2 minutes and 30 seconds each side (well done). Remove the steaks from the pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 5 minutes. Remove the rosemary from the pan and discard. Add the butter to the pan, heat until melted then pour with cooking juices over the steaks and serve immediately.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
