This Is One Of The Best Pork Pies , That We Have Had Since Walkers Closed Down In Covid. Good Tasting Meat And Jelly, The Crust Is Not Too Hard, It Says It Will Serve Four, But That Would Be A Very Big Portion, It Will Easily Serve Six People. This May Be Dearer Than Others , But Well Worth It.
Meaty & crunchy pastry..
Lovely & crunchy bottom, top of pastry goes a bit soft, chunks of meat which we all liked...Best I've had from Tesco...
Pie in fancy box
Just an ordinary pie but in a fancy box.
Bplus for effort
Better than all the others,

This is the BEST Supermarket Pork Pie that I have
This is the BEST Supermarket Pork Pie that I have ever purchased. I have tried numerous makes over the years, including the expensive Branded ones, they don't come close. This Tesco Finest had superb pastry and was packed with a beautifully seasoned meat filling. So why not 5 stars ? When I cut the Pie there was a n empty space under the pastry, NO jelly . In fact there was no jelly at all, aside from a tiny silver down at the bottom of the pie at the sides. Such a shame ! The jelly is an integral part of a Pork Pie, and should encase the top, bottom and sides. ALL the other Supermarket Pork pies that I have tried are all guilty of this, little or no jelly. Including an expensive Branded supposedly authentic Pork Pie. Despite the lack of jelly, this remains a superior quality product and delicious. A worthy substitute if you're unable to go to a Butcher or Farmers market.
