Best home cook ham I can find
Delicious and no smell around the house when cooking. I pop the bag in hot water in my slow cooker and leave on low for 5 hours then snip the bag and reserve the stock to add to soups. Slices perfectly for sandwiches when cold. Also great to add to pizza toppings and pasta bakes with cheese. Product keeps showing as "removed from our range" so I delete from favourites. Then it appears again when I go looking for other gammon. ??????

So worth it, roasted in oven for 1 hour from defrost, left to stand for 15 minutes, absolutely gorgeous no fat, plenty for 2 meals, will definitely buy again,

A nice surprise.
As a type one diabetic this is an ideal part of a meal for me ,very low sugar and fat..... but way too salty. This is easily remedied by removing it from the bag before soaking for 10 to 12 hours in cold clean water ( even better if you can manage to change the water a few times ) then just cooked on the hob or oven roasted. Personally I find the boiled on the hob preferable because it retains more moisture.
I bought this not expecting it to be anything special, but how wrong was I? I didn't cook it in the oven as suggested, I did the following. Took out of bag and put it in a large saucepan filled with plain cold water the day before we wanted to eat it. I changed the water half a dozen times to 'wash away' the salt. I cooked it on the hob the following day in the same saucepan (with fresh cold water) for 45 minutes and it was perfect. Not salty at all, and in fact, the next time, I bought two and cooked them in my witches cauldron - again on the hob. The above may seem a bit long winded but it's worth it.

Excellent taste and value
This is a really good flavoured gammon joint. There is no waste whatsoever and it usually makes three meals for the two of us, a hot meal, a salad and the rest for pea and ham soup. Excellent value.

A bit salty and no chance to soak it overnight as it's in the bag. But it's super tasty and lean. No fat layer / skin to remove. Will be a regular on my shopping list

This is my favourite gammon joint. Less additives than some others, low fat and cooks well. I always buy this when available.
