Coriander jammed in the nozzle
I normally like the CHOP purees and find them useful, but the coriander simply jammed the nozzle (yes, I did take the internal seal off). Palpitating the tube and inserting a prodder had no effect. It still jammed whilst leaking the oil everywhere. Presumably the coriander is not copped finely enough.
Mixed! Some good points some not so good.
Convenient for many uses but not a substitute (IMHO) for chopped coriander though it works well in a coriander flavoured dressing for salad, Asian style soups, curries etc but it is almost impossible to squeeze out of the tube (even if you take the screw on plastic bit off). I ended up cutting the end off and closing it with a Klippit then spooning it into my dishes. BUT as an emergency flavouring it has quite useful to have in (needs to be refrigerated, it seems to keep a lot longer than they suggest).
Good product: bad container.
Good substitute if you can't get fresh coriander and convenient to keep in fridge BUT useless tube. Too narrow to squeeze out the chopped coriander. You just get the carrier liquid and the bulk stays in the tube. It needs a finer cut or a wider neck for the tube. In the end I cut off the top of the container so I can use a teaspoon. Then closed it with a Klippit. Poor design. I see the reviews for Basil say much the same.
Brilliant product
Love coriander paste, we use it in so many recipes and so handy to have it the fridge.
