Unless you are desperate, don’t buy this. It looks so grey and unappetising. I thought it had gone off!
Plant Single Elmlea is not as good as the original
Why have you stopped doing the ordinary single Elmlea? It was delicious and low in calories. This new Plant Elmlea is disgusting. Unfortunately I bought three tubs of it and most of it has been thrown away. No stars out of 5.
Sorry, we didn't like this
I used to buy Elmlea as a tasty lower fat alternative to cream, and as it is a vegetarian option, we thought we'd try it again, but it was bitter with a texture like thin, wet plaster. We had to throw this food away.
Colour and taste is very unpleasant, not a substit
Colour and taste is very unpleasant, not a substitute for normal elmlea single cream
Oh Dear! No!
Elmlea does Dulux - not to our taste - but it did match the conservatory wall. However, may be used in my list of why I am not a vegan. Elmlea is otherwise very good. They ought think again about this one.
Tastes fine but it's slate grey!!
No substitute for real cream
Tastes nothing like cream and looks like grey paint
Absolutely delicious! I was given this as a substitute for an unavailable soya cream and have just ordered some in my next shop. I ca highly recommend it.
An excellent alternative to the other available creams. I used it in my coffee and in a curry. The results were good and I would whole heartedly recommend this product to those seeking dairy alternatives. I only used the single cream and am look forward to trying out the double cream version very soon.
Perfect for Pasta
We use this in pasta sauces (ie creamy pesto or leek) and its great, you can't taste the difference once its mixed in and sure its better for you that real cream :-)
