Bought 2 packs of these because it was something new and I don’t eat pork. They were not nice at all, the casing came off, everything didn’t stay together well. Complete waste of money. I’ll stick to the beef and the chicken sausages.
Enough to turn you vegan.
Ghastly. Used to buy Tesco Value (yes it was a while ago) and texture and taste was very good. These completely match the reviewer who suggested carpet, without a doubt the worst sausage I have ever eaten. They have a horrible texture, are very dry,and taste of cardboard that has past its eat by date.
After trying the chicken sausages, we thought we'd give these a go. What a mistake. Cooked, they look pretty good! But, once on your plate, it all goes down hill massively from here. The texture is similar to...well, imagine if you have some carpet underlay, got it wet and put it into a casing with a bit of herbs and spice - there you have it! Could I recommend these to eat? Well, if there's no other sausage available (and that's every sausage possible - including Richmond) you could buy these.
Will definitely be continuing to buy these.
Fantastic, low fat high protein alternative to Pork. I wish i had found these earlier! I've now used a pack as a Toad in the Hole, and my second pack as part of a fry up (healthy style) Will definitely be continuing to buy these over pork sausages.
